Kikyou has a mysterious expression on his face as he sits at the table, now clear of tableware. On his shoulder is Latiana, a serious expression on her face as it twitches due to her desperate attempts to mimic Kikyou. As if influenced by them, Lew, Shea, and Lumia are sitting opposite them with tense expressions on their faces.

Silence came over them.

The only sound echoing in the house is the ticking of the clock's needles.

Amidst this, perhaps due to the tense air, someone gulps and it reverberates throughout the living room—and, seemingly taking this as a sign, Kikyou reluctantly opens his mouth to speak.

"—Let us split rooms"

In an instant, the girls spoke in unison as if the inflated balloon, known as Silence, had just burst.

"Same room as Master!"

"The same room as Kikyou-sama!"

"Same room......with Kikyou!"

"Lati thinks, that the same room with Maester is nice!"

Their voices overlap, though Latiana said her words after everyone else's.

After pouting and glaring at one another, the first to speak is Latiana.

"Lati luvs Maester! That's why I will be in the same room!"

"Lati's okay!"

"Lati is......fine......"

"Lati is alright"

"Yayyyyyy!!"

From the start, they never thought of Latiana as a rival. If anything, she is more like a daughter to some, and a little sister to others, so they agreed in no time and nodded to one another.

Everyone is soft on Latiana.

Lumia stood up and clenched her fist.

There is no one else fit for this!, or so Lumia seemed to say, causing Shea to give her an annoyed stare.

"You mean that you'll care for Master’s every need?"

"Indeed! Why I will do it with utmost devotion!" Lumia asserted while clenching her fist.

".....Do you think......Kikyou......wants that?" Lew nonchalantly interrupts as if it is most natural to do so.

"......Uug. T-That is—"

Now that Lew brought it up, Kikyou is a person who does his chores himself. On the contrary, he might even help others out with theirs. He will turn it down if someone suggests that they will help him out.

That is true, or so Lumia mumbled; She could not help but agree after hearing Lew's words.

"B-But......It is a fact that I will be less of a burden on Kikyou compared to the two of you who are not morning people!" She yelled, unwilling to back down, understanding that she would be so outmatched that the tide would turn against her if this continued.

The two think back after hearing Lumia's words. Recalling the countless times oversleeping, to then be woken up by Kikyou and his comrades made Lew and Shea sweat bullets.

"......That is......undeniable......" Lew said as she hung her head.

"Lew-!? Don't give up! ......I-It's true that we're not morning people. But this is something we can change as much as we want goin' forward! Howevvveeerr! Lumia has a worrying trait that she can't change!"

"Worrying......trait?"

With no clue as to what it is, Lumia tilts her head.

"Yes! Lumia is......kinda perverted! Oopsies'll surely happen if you live in the same room as Master" Shea said, pointing her finger firmly at Lumia.

"Whatever does Shea even see me as!? I am wholesome I say! Wholesome!" Lumia yells when she hears this unexpected nitpicking.

"......It is true that......Lumia is......dangerous," An immediate follow-up attack by Lew.

"Even Lew!? Whyy......"

Lumia crumpled to the floor when she heard such an unexpected opinion of her.

Looking at this with her usual, unfathomable eyes, Lew then shifted her gaze to Shea.

"......About that......Lew is......safe. ......Lew is......nine. ......Still......young. ......That is why......Kikyou can......sleep......without worrying" Lew makes a smug face as she says this.

How about it, you two cannot refute this right?, or so Lew seems to say, to which Shea shakes her head with much vigor and says, "Nooopppeee! Lew's also dangerous!"

"......How?"

Lew tilts her head.

"It's not realizing where your charms lie!"

"......Charms?"

"A developed body and a heart most pure! That clueless devilishness'll turn men into savage wolves!" Shea says as she points her finger firmly at Lew.

"......I do not quite understand," Lew says while she tilts her head even further as she, a nine-year-old (converted to human years), seems to not be able to understand the concept of emphasis.

"In other words......Lew's also perverted!" Shea yells at her as if to deliver the final blow.

"......No way......even though......Lew is......only nine......" Lew says after her expression becomes one of shock, the sound of her being taken aback almost audible. She then collapses on the spot.

With this, the only one left standing is Shea.

"Hehehe. ......So, with this! I shall be in the same room as Master—" Shea says after smirking lewdly, a seemingly proud expression on her face.

"No, Shea here is the most unfit I say—!" Lumia said while facing Shea.

"Uh-huh, there is no option to be in my room in the first place okay!?" Kikyou, who was observing silently the whole time, spoke up for the first time as if to add to Lumia's words.

In the end, it was decided that Shea would live in the room to Kikyou's right, Lew on his left, and Latiana on the desk of his room.
