Kikyou is, actually, neither an expert in the game nor does he play it a lot. However, he, of course, has a slight advantage in experience, and his kart handling skills are superior, so there is quite a large gap between him and the girls.

That said, it is not as big a gap as Kikyou had thought it would be.

Part of this is probably due to Kikyou's skills falling off quite a bit as he has not played this game for a long time, but the biggest factor is everyone’s—except Shea’s—handling of the controller, which is so effortless, and without hesitation, that it is hard to think that it is their first time.

When he turned to face everyone, it seemed like they were itching to play another round, so Kikyou nodded before he started the preparations for the next race.

—They raced multiple times after that.

Many things happened during those races.

For example, Lew, smirking as she used Lightning—

"......Hm? Whoaaaa! I crashed!"

"......Fufu......Strategy......"

With that, Shea's kart, which was gliding across the sky, shrank and plummeted.

"My very first first place! My very first first place is right in front of my eyes—Whoaaa!"

Or so when the race had gone on with Shea in first, but her kart was knocked away by a green shell right in front of the finish line, and she finished last in the end...

"......Hm? Ohhhh! Bullet Bill!"

Or so when Shea got a Bullet Bill out of luck and overtook four individuals to clinch a miraculous first place—
