"Yeah, I am. Was just looking back nostalgically on some memories for a little while"

With the flashback over, I came back to reality, where I was kneeling down in Rika's room.

It has already been a week since I told her my true feelings. In other words, it has already been two weeks since I learnt that Rin was Rinka Mizuki.

And, it is now Sunday afternoon.

Another incident (?) had occurred.

"I did say that I would wait for Kazuto-kun to sort out your feelings. But, I didn't say that I would go as far as to allow infidelity"

"......Didn't you say that you would allow a little infidelity?"

"Isn't it obvious that I would get mad if I found out? Eh, what? Are you telling me you thought you would be forgiven, so you tried to proactively cheat on me?"

"I didn't, I didn't! It's a misunderstanding! I apologize for saying something unnecessary!"

Met with a chilling glare much like an assassin's, I immediately lowered my head and apologized.

Ugh, how did it become like this...

Two days ago, I headed to Rinka's house expectantly after I was invited by that message.

Relying on the address that she told me, I arrived at a run-of-the-mill high-rise apartment.

I headed into the high-rise apartment while being wary about my surroundings and stood in front of the apartment that the Mizuki household was staying in.

When I pressed the chime, Rinka, dressed in a fashionable outfit, came out to welcome me.

She could be featured in a magazine, and it wouldn't even be weird. Anyone could probably see that she put a lot of effort into choosing her outfit.

Is it alright for me to enter Rinka's room while I have yet to sort out my feelings and my increasing woes? But, I want to see the room of my dream idol.

Just as I stepped into her neat and tidy room, slightly hesitant......

"Let's sort out Kazuto-kun's female relationships once and for all"

This is the issue, though.

My dreams and fantasies were shattered. 

It may have de-escalated if I said that I loved her, but...... I guess it has not reached that point yet.

What frustrating cowardice if I do say so myself.

Perhaps due to the woes in my actual life, I have not told her, nor have I told myself, that I love her.

"There is a need for Kazuto-kun to be more aware that you are popular. Should that happen, you would be able to deal with girls appropriately"

In the first place, I am not the popular type. Rinka seems to be into me, but the trigger was an online game after all.

"I'm home! Is Rinka-onee-chan homeee?"

A cute female voice could be heard from outside the room all of a sudden.

"O-Oh no, Nonoa has come back......! Even though she said that she would be at her friend's place until evening," Rinka exclaimed, her face pale.

Something unexpected has occurred—a family member has come back.

"Your little sister?"

"Yes. I have a big sister, who is attending university, and a little sister who is in her first year of elementary school, but—. No, now's not the time to be talking about that! Hurry up and hide!"

"It would be bad if it's your parents, but wouldn't it be fine if it's your little sister?"

"I want to avoid any unnecessary risks! Nonoa is pure, but in exchange, she is loose-lipped…… Hurry up and hide Kazuto-kun"

"Hide where?"

I took a brief look around her room. It was tidy and had no places to hide.

There's a desk, a wardrobe, bookshelves, etc...... If I must, I guess I'll hide in the wardrobe? It has doors, so I'll be able to hide in it, but......

"Hide in my bed!"

"Eh, haven't you got the hiding spot wrong? The wardrobe's bett—"

"Enough talk, hurry up and hide!"

Whether it was because Rinka's decision-making abilities worsened due to her panic, or that she had a reason to prevent me from hiding in her wardrobe, I was pushed towards her bed. She also laid a futon on top of it.

As I did that, I heard the door open.

"Ah, Big Sis Rinka! You're at home today?"

"Yes, I am. That said, what is wrong, Nonoa? Weren't you supposed to be out playing with your friend until evening?"

"About that, Aki-chan had to do something, so she went home soon after! That's why you should playyy with me, Big Sis Rinka"

"L-Let's see...... I'm a bit busy right now, so go to the living room for now"

I was hiding in Rinka's bed, so I could not check where they were, but it looks like she managed to lure Nonoa away.

Alright, now's my chance.

"Ah, come to think of it, there was a pair of shoes at the entrance. Did Big Sis's friend come over to play?"

Oh no! I had overlooked that... I completely slipped up...

A panicked Rinka. And there were sounds of scurrying as footsteps approached. The futon was pulled away from me a moment later.

I met eyes with the culprit who pulled the futon away. She was a young girl. My face was reflected in those big, round pupils of hers.

She was terrifyingly cute, proof that she was Rinka's little sister. The impression I got from her appearance was akin to a young, extremely innocent, and cute Rinka without her cool demeanor, I guess. She had pigtail hair (a short twintail), one that made use of her youthfulness and drew out her cuteness quite well.

"......"

Nonoa-chan was stunned after looking at my face. She probably did not think that a boy would be here.

For starters, I should introduce myself.

"Nonoa-chan, was it? Nice to meet you, I am Kazuto Ayanokouji"

Yeap, greetings are important; Even more so if it's the first time.

"B-"

"B?"

"Big Sis has brought a male overrrrrrrrr!"

Her sweet and cute shriek echoed noisily throughout the room.
