After that, Kikyou teaches Shea step by step as he cooks and the miso soup is finally done.

The ingredients such as onions and tofu are slightly jagged but the flavor of the soup is decent.

The hamburger steak and salad are also done as they were made simultaneously. With this, the dinner menu is complete.

They lined the dishes on the long table and sat around it. By the way, their seating order was decided through a serious discussion and is as follows: Latiana and Lumia beside each other, Lew opposite Latiana, Shea beside Lew, and Kikyou to Latiana’s right, the edge of the table in between them.

"Is there any discomfort?"

"Uh-uh! It's alright!" Lati, now around the size of a human three-year-old, answers with a smile.

She would always do this even in the other world, using transformation magic to make her body bigger specifically during meal times.

As this was her first time using magic in Japan, Kikyou was slightly worried but it seemed to be needless worry seeing as she used it without the slightest discomfort.

Well then, with my worry gone, it is time to move on to eating.

On the menu are the pan-fried hamburger steaks from earlier, salad, miso soup, and, an essential of Japanese meals, white rice; A common combination in Japan.

However, there is no tradition in the other world to consume white rice and miso—due to the uncertainty of whether they even exist in the first place—it seems like they are completely new to the girls as all of their eyes sparkled, looking towards Kikyou as if to hurry him up.

Seeing them like this, Kikyou smiles then quickly puts his hands together as he himself is also hungry and says, "It is time to eat."

Following him, the girls also put their hands together and said, "It is time to eat" before starting to eat as they pleased.

"............o-! It is delicious!" Latiana exclaimed, sauce all around her mouth, her eyes sparkling.

"......Kikyou......is a genius......" Lew said quietly before raising her thumb in approval.

"......It is classy and delicious!" The delicate flavors had Lumia's eyes popping open.

—These should not have been flavors that would be fitting for Lumia to call classy but many of the meals in the other world were bland which is probably why she had that opinion about a mere Japanese meal.

And, while everyone was happily relishing their very first Japanese meal, Shea alone had not taken a single bite, and she was staring intensely at Kikyou. Most likely waiting for him to drink the miso soup.

......I did a taste test earlier so I do know it is delicious though.

Kikyou smiles bitterly in his mind. That said, as Kikyou knew, it would definitely be better to tell her directly, he drinks the miso soup and nods.

"......Yeap, it is delicious. Well done, Shea"

"......Well done, Shea-san!"

"......Shea......it is delicious"

"Shea amazing!"

Lumia, Lew, and Latiana said respectively.

......To Shea who is known as the Dark Matter Cook, these are the very first praises to her cooking.

"Huehehe. ......That's a relief" She said as the uneasiness disappeared from her face.

"......Well then, Ima' dig in~!" She then says, probably because she is hungry now that she is relieved. As she says this, she grabs a fork, stabs it into the hamburger steak and sinks her teeth into the hamburger steak.

"............o-!?"

The meat juices burst out in an instant; The Umami from the meat, delicate yet intense, spreads in her mouth at the same time.

Punch after punch of flavor, which she had never experienced before in the other world, had Shea slouching over, head hanging almost as if she had been knocked out after being beaten to a pulp.

"......Uw-. The level's too different"

Being painfully aware of the difference in level between this and her miso soup made her lament to herself. However, at the same time......she wished in her heart that she could, one day, cook a meal like Kikyou's and bring everyone joy.
